Views
We know you come to the mountains to actually see the mountains! So many properties are tucked into the nooks and crannies throughout the Estes Valley and so few are able to highlight the natural magnificence that makes this area so beautiful and so special. McGregor sits off the valley floor on the slopes of McGregor Mountain and looks out across the Fall River Valley to the Continental Divide. Greeting you every morning is Deer Mountain across the valley and Sundance Mountain at the head of the valley. Your cup of coffee will never taste as good with a view like this!
Wildlife
Known for being in the prime location for wildlife viewing, you will definitely have front row seats to the show at McGregor Mountain Lodge. Elk, Mule Deer, and Bighorn Sheep frequent the grounds on a daily basis and many other types of wildlife can be seen regularly. Foxes, rabbits, and even bears and bobcats are seen by many guests. Keep your camera handy… you’ll need it!
Location
That’s what they say, right? Location, location, location. Only a half mile from the Fall River Entrance to RMNP, only 4.5 miles from downtown Estes Park, and with RMNP literally bordering the north side of the property, McGregor Mountain Lodge could not be in a better spot. Minutes to hundreds of miles of trails, a few short miles to all the conveniences of town, and National Park land directly out the front door of your cabin… THIS is why you come to Estes Park!
