About Fruita Section State Park
The Colorado River: Fruita Section park section has wonderful views of the Colorado National Monument and the Book Cliffs. A great spot for camping, fishing, boating, bird watching, and hiking or biking the river trail. Camping is available at the Fruita section and Island Acres, reservations are recommended on summer weekends. Only hand-propelled or sail watercraft and boats with electric motors are permitted on Island Acres, Corn Lake, Connected Lakes, and Fruita Lakes. This park is not far from the start of the Kokopelli trail. — Back to All State Parks.
